Senior DCS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering problems within power generation systems.
• Ensure business goals are met through effective planning, organizing, estimating, and monitoring of work activities.
• Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, calculations, and sketches related to engineering studies.
• Conduct non-routine engineering projects and manage project schedules with minimal oversight.
• Design, operate, and maintain systems while developing positive working relationships to coordinate activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or Professional Engineer (PE) status.
• Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, or 5 years of experience with state PE registration.
• A Master's degree in Engineering is accepted in lieu of a B.S. degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience in the utility or power generation industry (including Combined Cycle, Simple Cycle, or Combined Heat).
• Ability to read and follow Emerson Ovation, Siemens T-3000, and GE Mk VI logic.
• Experience with electrical equipment such as industrial breakers, transformers, PLC, and pressure/temperature transmitters.
• Ability to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints and diagrams.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in project management and engineering design principles.
