Senior DataOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient workflows
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security through regular maintenance and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Monitor the availability and performance of data systems and tools
• Conduct data verification, integrity checks, and reconciliations across various data sources
• Assist in developing and enforcing policies for effective data management and governance
• Participate in on-call rotations to handle incidents 24/7 during specific weeks
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and Analytics teams to support data initiatives

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 1+ years of experience in data management or data operations roles
• Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery)
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Apache NiFi or Airflow
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 1+ year of experience with PowerBI or similar tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data quality management
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and practices
• Certifications in relevant data management or cloud platform technologies
