Senior Databricks & Power BI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data solutions on the Databricks platform using Spark and Delta Lake
• Develop and maintain workflows that capture and process data quality metrics across multiple systems
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor data management KPIs and operational metrics
• Partner with data governance, operations, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements
• Implement scalable and reusable data models to support analytics and reporting needs
• Troubleshoot performance issues and continuously improve the reliability of reporting solutions
• Contribute to best practices regarding data engineering, documentation, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and business intelligence roles
• Strong expertise with Databricks, including Apache Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, and workflow orchestration
• Proven experience developing enterprise reporting solutions using Power BI, including DAX and data modeling
• Experience building metrics and reporting frameworks for data quality or operational monitoring
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience working with large-scale datasets in regulated environments, preferably within Capital Markets or Financial Services
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure data services and CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Knowledge of Capital Markets domains such as trading, risk, reference data, or post-trade operations
