Senior Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Direct the development of complex systems using queries, tables, and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies
• Direct the overall database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system
• Create new workflows to take over existing processes and provide break/fix requests or updates
• Lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from project inception to conclusion

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• 10 years of experience as a Database Engineer in programs of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years of additional DBE experience)
• Python
• MongoDB or MariaDB
• Django or Flask
• ReST endpoints
• Microservices

Preferred Qualifications

• Swagger
• AWS, C2S or other cloud experience
• Docker
• Visual Studio Code or similar IDEs
• JSON and/or XML serialization
• Jira
• Confluence
• Git
• Agile
