Senior Database Developer/Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, modify, and manage large and complex datasets efficiently
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities across multiple systems
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for reporting and data processing
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across databases
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs
• Implement best practices for data pipeline optimization and performance tuning

Requirements

• 5-7 years of total professional experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data modification techniques
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets
• Proficiency in Python and/or Apache Spark
• Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of data pipeline optimization and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS
• AWS Associate-level Certification
• Familiarity with data warehousing and big data technologies
