Senior Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure MongoDB instances across on-premise and public cloud environments
• Ensure maximum database performance, availability, and security
• Design indexing strategies and configure, monitor, and deploy replica sets
• Manage database server major version upgrades
• Write clear documentation for database architecture and procedures for backup and disaster recovery
• Create and manage user roles and permissions

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB Enterprise and MongoDB Atlas
• Proficiency in configuring MongoDB within Linux and cloud environments
• Experience implementing multi-data center replica sets and sharded clusters
• Experience with audit processes, security measures, and encryption at rest
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Apache Cassandra
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
