About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Oracle databases across ALIS and ODIN environments
- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server
- Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes using RMAN and Data Pump
- Monitor and improve database performance, availability, and security
- Support scripting and automation using Shell, Batch, or similar tools
- Lead and coordinate database activities within structured procedures and change control
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong expertise with Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency with RMAN, Data Pump, or SQLPlus
- Solid knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
- Experience working in mission-critical or highly controlled environments
- Professional fluency in English
