Senior Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee database performance, maintenance, and support for Postgres and Snowflake technologies.
• Manage and maintain database configurations, infrastructure, and Azure database environments.
• Implement and support storage structures, replication, clusters, logical partitioning, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide DBA support for enterprise monitoring, backup, alerting, and security compliance.
• Write complex code for database access and modifications, including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Partner with information security and application engineering teams to ensure security requirements and technical performance.
• Perform data analysis to resolve complicated issues spanning multiple systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technology field.
• 5-7 years of experience as a Database Administrator with specific expertise in Snowflake and Postgres.
• Expert-level proficiency in writing complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Extensive experience with database clustering, data synchronization, encryption, and partitioning.
• Strong knowledge of MS/Azure database management and performance utilities.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
