Senior Data & Trust Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to TELUS Health leaders to address data and trust challenges and organizational design.
• Design and adapt data and trust policies, including privacy by design, data lifecycle management, and ethical AI development.
• Build, implement, and manage new privacy, data governance, and responsible AI programs from the ground up.
• Partner with DTO subject matter experts to adapt shared programs and design TELUS-specific initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement by evaluating the ROI of data and trust programs and creating engagement content for stakeholders.
• Coach and develop leaders to strengthen team performance and culture regarding data and trust.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in progressive data and trust partner or related roles.
• Proven success building and implementing privacy, data governance, and responsible AI programs.
• Strong project leadership experience, managing complex initiatives from design through implementation.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is required for interacting with internal/external parties and using technical tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CIPP (Privacy), CDMP (Data Governance), or AI ethics credentials.
• Bilingual capabilities in French and English.
• Previous experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with digital health technology.
• Legal background or experience.
