About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to TELUS Health leaders to address data and trust challenges and organizational design.
- Design and adapt data and trust policies, including privacy by design, data lifecycle management, and ethical AI development.
- Build, implement, and manage new privacy, data governance, and responsible AI programs from the ground up.
- Partner with DTO subject matter experts to adapt shared programs and design TELUS-specific initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating the ROI of data and trust programs and creating engagement content for stakeholders.
- Coach and develop leaders to strengthen team performance and culture regarding data and trust.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in progressive data and trust partner or related roles.
- Proven success building and implementing privacy, data governance, and responsible AI programs.
- Strong project leadership experience, managing complex initiatives from design through implementation.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required for interacting with internal/external parties and using technical tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP (Privacy), CDMP (Data Governance), or AI ethics credentials.
- Bilingual capabilities in French and English.
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with digital health technology.
- Legal background or experience.
