Senior Data Steward

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data quality checks on Master and Transactional data to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Ensure effective governance of master data throughout its lifecycle, focusing on Product, Customer, and Pricing data.
• Proactively identify data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and define remediation actions.
• Collaborate with Data Owners and technical Product Owners to define and enforce data definitions, business rules, and standards.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into clear data requirements.
• Maintain end-to-end data flows and validate data across multiple sources including SAP, Trade Promotion Management, and POS systems.
• Develop and maintain data standards, guidelines, and playbooks to enable consistent data maintenance.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Data, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in data stewardship, data governance, or a closely related role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis.
• Working knowledge of Informatica IDMC, Data Quality, and Governance.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and master data management concepts.
• Experience with Trade Promotion Management and POS/sell-out data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead root-cause analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
• Experience working within the CPG/FMCG industry.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
