Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Engineer Zoom's Revenue Intelligence Engine to transform raw telemetry into actionable insights for customer growth, retention, and expansion.
• Design telemetry models to predict user journey transitions and support growth initiatives.
• Build, deploy, and monitor scalable ML models for lead scoring, expansion modeling, and churn prediction.
• Manage the full MLOps lifecycle, including retraining pipelines, model registry oversight, and defining inference strategies.
• Develop analytics design systems, including modular dbt data models and standardized metric definitions.
• Own the full A/B testing lifecycle, from experimental design to providing ship/no-ship recommendations.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to diagnose trends such as conversion drops or churn spikes.
• Mentor junior data scientists and present strategic business recommendations to VP and C-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product analytics or applied data science.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and Python for complex querying and data modeling.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and monitoring ML models in production environments.
• Proficiency with MLOps platforms such as MLflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake for analytics workflows.
• Strong foundation in statistics and expertise in A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience working with telemetry and event data to model user behavior.
• Educational background in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
