Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic Data Science team to develop scalable machine learning models and reusable tools.
• Drive innovative solutions for complex CV-NLP challenges, including image classification, data extraction, and text summarization.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to design and implement efficient ML pipelines for production deployment.
• Optimize the model development lifecycle, focusing on scalability for training and production scoring to handle high data volumes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developing computer vision models and applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Expertise in deep learning models, specifically Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and YOLO.
• Proven experience with OCR libraries (Tesseract, EasyOCR, Keras-OCR) and integrating them into production systems.
• Experience with NLP tasks including Named Entity Recognition (NER), text classification, and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Proficiency in API development using frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Experience with public cloud OCR services such as AWS Textract, GCP Vision, or Document AI.
