Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets
• Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing and assessing large datasets
• Translate mission needs and analytic questions into technical requirements
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
• Make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions
• Use mathematical, statistical, and computer science methods to draw principled conclusions from data

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience (or Associate's degree with 12 years)
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python) and one mid-level language (e.g., C)
• Experience in machine learning, data science, or advanced statistical analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in more than three areas including data mining, AI, workflow reproducibility, or software engineering
• Certificate in Data Science from an accredited institution
