Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Innovate at scale by staying at the forefront of AdTech research, focusing on CTR prediction, online learning regimes, and high-dimensional embeddings
• Bridge research and engineering by collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate research gaps into production-ready features
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle from reading ArXiv papers to A/B testing and monitoring model performance in live environments
• Experiment with unconventional hypotheses and new algorithmic approaches through dedicated deep-work sessions

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in a quantitative field or equivalent industry experience
• 8+ years of experience in applied research, specifically deploying ML algorithms into high-throughput online environments
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and understanding of how models fit into a code stack
• Ability to critique scientific paper methodologies and implement core findings effectively
• Strong communication skills to explain complex systems like transformer-based ranking to peers and product managers
