Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced Machine Learning, AI, and predictive analytics solutions to solve complex business challenges.
• Build and optimize statistical models, including forecasting, regression, classification, and probability engines.
• Lead the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data exploration and cleaning to model development and performance evaluation.
• Utilize Azure Machine Learning and related cloud services for model training, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Deploy AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including model versioning, CI/CD integration, and automated retraining workflows.
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI capabilities into business solutions.
• Conduct Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis to diagnose model performance issues and drive continuous improvements.
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into structured, data-driven problem statements and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, AI, ML, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist solving real-world business problems.
• Strong expertise in Python and object-oriented programming (OOP) for developing production-ready applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Studio, and Azure cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms.
• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and NLP.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and wrangling large datasets.
• Practical experience with MLOps, production deployment, and model monitoring.
