About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape feature roadmaps and design success metrics
- Build efficient data models and high-quality production pipelines
- Develop scalable analytics, ML, and causal inference frameworks to uncover usage patterns and performance enhancements
- Act as an early adopter of Snowflake features and provide design feedback
- Disseminate insights using Snowflake Notebook, Worksheets, Dashboards, or Streamlit Apps
- Influence product decisions and drive initiatives to improve customer outcomes
- Provide reporting for the executive team and board of directors
Requirements
- MS or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or CS)
- 8+ years of relevant data science or related experience
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python (scikit-learn, numpy, pandas)
- Expert experience working with large-scale machine-generated data such as logs and telemetry
- High fluency with MPP databases like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
- Strong data-driven storytelling skills to influence technical and business stakeholders
