Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Headquarters BI team to design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze cross-functional data to provide actionable insights and industry-standard best practices to business teams.
• Design data models and develop DB Views and Calculation Views within SAP HANA.
• Implement snapshot processes, data refresh schedules, and exception handling procedures.
• Define data integration requirements between various systems and partner with the Global BI team to drive end-user adoption.
• Maintain expertise in the latest SAP HANA technology advances and enterprise business processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of documented experience as a SQL developer in data warehouse technologies.
• 2+ years of mandatory experience with SAP HANA.
• Proven expertise in SAP HANA Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in database design and development using SQL on SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience in ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Ability to critically think about integrating AI into work processes and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a geographically dispersed team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BI technologies such as Tableau, OBIEE, QlikView, or Microsoft BI.
• Prior experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Interest or experience in Data Science projects and working with large historical snapshot tables.
