About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the full life-cycle of Data Science solutions, from initial exploration to model deployment and monitoring
- Build and deploy production-grade AI/ML, Deep Learning, and statistical models to solve complex business problems
- Develop predictive data models, anomaly detection models, and quantitative analyses using big data sources
- Apply statistics, machine learning, and advanced mathematics to identify patterns and drive product improvements
- Implement semantic data capabilities through NLP, text mining, and machine learning techniques
- Oversee data acquisition and ingestion from structured and unstructured sources, ensuring data quality and comprehensiveness
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure best practices for ML model deployment and infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience working on real-world problems
- Master or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and model deployment for Gen AI applications in production environments
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, or Hugging Face Transformers
- Experience designing graph data models and working with graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including version control (GIT/GitHub) and testing methods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience architecting large-scale ML systems and MLOps workflows
- Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning and GenAI LLM models
- Experience in the AIOps domain and using IT Operation Monitoring Tools (e.g., Dynatrace, PagerDuty)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
