Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Train, test, and ship models that power Peec AI’s recommendations to boost customer visibility in AI search
• Develop algorithms to extract actionable insights from AI search behavior
• Own the full model lifecycle from experimentation to production deployment
• Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of data

Requirements

• Proven backend development skills in Python
• Experience building APIs, data pipelines, or ML infrastructure
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Docker, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Deep curiosity about LLM mechanics and AI search behavior
• Track record of taking projects from research to production in a startup environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions to open-source projects
• Deployed side or hobby projects
• Presented research papers at top ML or AI conferences
• Previous experience starting a company or working at a high-growth startup
• Fluency in TypeScript
