Senior Data Scientist

Partly's mission is to connect the world's parts by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, the company provides scalable digital infrastructure for cataloging and managing parts online for large businesses and startups.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Data Science team to tackle R&D problems
• Build projects with meaningful impact for clients
• Perform data analysis, modeling, visualization, and pattern recognition
• Build new prediction systems and work on data processing systems
• Utilize techniques such as ANNs, graph algorithms, regression, decision trees, and feature extraction

Requirements

• MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• 6+ months of commercial data science experience
• Experience working with automotive data
• Strong understanding of data analysis, extraction, mapping, and/or machine learning
• Ability to work and learn autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, Google Cloud, and PostgreSQL
• Passion for solving complex problems
• History of working on personal projects outside of formal education
