Responsibilities

• Perform analyses to understand user interaction and product improvement opportunities
• Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Automate identification of anomalies and investigate root causes
• Lead, design, and build experiments to solve challenging data and business problems
• Identify trends and opportunities to define product roadmaps
• Craft business metrics and define objective targets to measure success
• Work with engineers to improve data collection processes
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to champion data-driven decision making
• Apply, develop, or refine algorithms to deliver business value
• Research and implement novel techniques from literature to improve existing solutions
• Mentor, coach, and manage team members towards excellence

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional working experience
• Strong mathematical, statistical, or actuarial background
• Hands-on experience in machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling
• Deep knowledge of probability, statistics, distributions, and analysis methods
• High proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with data visualization
• Strong problem-solving skills using both textbook and novel methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and self-driven to deliver results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mentoring, training, hiring, onboarding, or managing a team
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, software architecture, and machine learning algorithms
