Senior Data Scientist & Modeler

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business applications and AI capabilities
• Build and operationalize data solutions, including transformations, cleansing, and quality improvements
• Create and implement ontologies and knowledge graphs to organize large volumes of data into structured knowledge
• Develop and maintain documentation for knowledge engineering processes, ERDs, and data flow diagrams
• Collaborate with data and AI engineers to implement models across databases, warehouses, and data lakes
• Prepare data structures for ML pipelines, feature stores, and LLM-ready datasets, including support for RAG pipelines
• Optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency
• Establish data governance and standards for algorithms used in automated decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in data modeling, database design, or a related field
• Experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical modeling using RDBMS and NoSQL
• Proficiency in semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with programming languages like Python or R
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data warehouse tools like Snowflake or Databricks
• Demonstrated experience integrating and managing large volumes of data across diverse sources

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Prior experience preparing data for machine learning or analytics environments
• Experience with semantic web technologies and linked data principles
• Exposure to vector databases and feature engineering
