About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business applications and AI capabilities
- Build and operationalize data solutions, including transformations, cleansing, and quality improvements
- Create and implement ontologies and knowledge graphs to organize large volumes of data into structured knowledge
- Develop and maintain documentation for knowledge engineering processes, ERDs, and data flow diagrams
- Collaborate with data and AI engineers to implement models across databases, warehouses, and data lakes
- Prepare data structures for ML pipelines, feature stores, and LLM-ready datasets, including support for RAG pipelines
- Optimize data pipelines and processing workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Establish data governance and standards for algorithms used in automated decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in data modeling, database design, or a related field
- Experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical modeling using RDBMS and NoSQL
- Proficiency in semantic technologies such as RDF, OWL, and SPARQL
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with programming languages like Python or R
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data warehouse tools like Snowflake or Databricks
- Demonstrated experience integrating and managing large volumes of data across diverse sources
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Prior experience preparing data for machine learning or analytics environments
- Experience with semantic web technologies and linked data principles
- Exposure to vector databases and feature engineering
