Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fraud detection models by performing data cleaning, feature engineering, and model tuning
• Analyze client data to understand business objectives and solve complex financial crime challenges
• Collaborate with internal Product and Research teams as well as external stakeholders to ensure client success
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to drive project execution and build scalable data pipelines
• Contribute to product development by creating prototypes and implementing generalized product enhancements
• Communicate complex technical findings and strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and the scientific stack (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn)
• Deep expertise in machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Experience with distributed computing tools such as PySpark
• Proven experience in data manipulation, feature engineering, and building scalable pipelines using Airflow and Trino
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to financial crime contexts
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related area
