Senior Data Scientist I

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions for insurance use cases including fraud detection, claims triage, and underwriting risk scoring.
• Build and operationalize LLM-powered applications such as claim summarization, adjuster copilots, and RAG pipelines.
• Fine-tune and prompt-engineer foundation models (e.g., GPT-4, LLaMA) and design advanced NLP pipelines for unstructured data extraction.
• Construct scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
• Implement MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated experiment tracking with MLflow, and production model monitoring.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries and optimization.
• Practical experience with Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, MLflow) or similar analytics platforms.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining LLM and RAG-based applications, including vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and version control expertise using Git.
