Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Work with large structured and unstructured data to define and create streamlined processes for evaluating unique datasets
• Lead the design of solutions and refinement of pre-existing analytical processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders, program managers, and product owners to translate roadmaps into tasks and estimate timelines
• Use exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data
• Implement optimization models and big data analytic tools to provide impactful insights for decision makers
• Conduct peer reviews to improve the quality of workflows, procedures, and methodologies
• Mentor team members to increase technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly
• 10+ years of relevant experience in data science or related fields
• Expert level knowledge in manipulating and analyzing structured and unstructured data
• Demonstrated experience in data mining and database management
• Experience using COTS statistical software such as Map Large, Tableau, or MatLab
• Experience directing highly skilled technical and analytical teams
• Experience conducting multi-INT and technology-specific research

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science or a related technical field
• Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, C++, or Java
• Experience with GIScience, ArcGIS, or geospatial analysis
• Experience building databases for GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data
• Expertise in data visualization including Network Analytics and Graphing Data
