Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Work on fraud detection and risk assessment models from data collection to production
• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for Ship & Collect, Voucher Fraud Prevention, and Payment Fraud Prevention
• Monitor model performance, detect anomalies, and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Leverage classification, regression, and uplift methodologies to improve solutions
• Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate development cycles and improve code quality

Requirements

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in statistics, physics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or data science
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or fraud detection
• Strong experience with classification and regression models
• Fluency in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM)
• Experience with Spark/PySpark and Databricks
• Experience with AWS services (SageMaker), Airflow/Prefect, and Git/Docker/CI/CD
• Knowledge of handling imbalanced datasets and optimizing precision/recall trade-offs
• Experience with real-time model inference and A/B testing
