Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering to set success metrics and size opportunities
• Design and analyze experiments with statistical precision to drive evidence-driven decisions
• Work with Engineering on tracking plans and event taxonomy for measurement quality
• Run deep-dive analyses on funnels, cohorts, activation, and retention
• Build frameworks and self-serve capabilities to enable PMs and product leaders
• Proactively surface strategic questions for the product organization

Requirements

• Significant experience in product analytics within PLG SaaS, marketplace, or transactional environments
• Deep experimentation experience including design and analysis
• Strong instrumentation and data governance instincts
• Experience working in AI-native product organizations
• Proficiency in SQL and Python and/or R
• Proven track record of building scalable analytical frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in productivity SaaS businesses
• Familiarity with dbt, semantic/BI layers, and self-serve stacks (Hex, LightDash, Looker)
• Knowledge of causal inference methods
• Experience implementing experimentation platforms like Statsig or Eppo
• Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Firebase
