Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full model lifecycle from discovery and feature engineering to production and monitoring
• Design and refine real-time ML systems to reduce false positives
• Foster a responsive feedback loop to adapt models as fraud patterns evolve
• Help shape the technical direction of fraud prevention ML
• Support team growth through technical mentorship and code reviews

Requirements

• Degree or PhD in a STEM discipline or equivalent commercial experience
• Hands-on experience with deep learning, graph-based methods, or sequence models
• Proven track record of deploying models in production
• Ability to translate complex ML concepts for business stakeholders
• Proficiency in writing clean code

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, cybersecurity, or risk modelling
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery
