Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade GenAI applications and pipelines using Python, MLflow, and Databricks.
• Develop AI-powered solutions including conversational AI, LLM-driven data enrichment, and multimodal processing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production Python code with automated testing, monitoring, and guardrails.
• Orchestrate data and AI workflows in Databricks, including pipelines, jobs, and model serving endpoints.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure to deploy and scale AI services.
• Drive complex projects from proof of concept through production deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Mentor team members through code reviews, technical sparring, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering with a track record of delivering production systems.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining customer-facing GenAI applications in production.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures, including RAG, agents, and tool calling.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Transformers and various LLM provider SDKs.
• Experience working in Databricks or similar cloud-based data and AI platforms.
• Strong PySpark, Pandas, and SQL skills for working with large, structured datasets.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions.
