Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical and machine learning models including regression, classification, and clustering
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade data pipelines to support state-of-the-art AI/ML models
• Specialize in Large Language Model (LLM) development, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and embedding optimization
• Create NLP solutions for text classification, sentiment analysis, and topic modeling
• Build robust data preprocessing pipelines to handle missing values, outliers, and feature scaling
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to derive actionable insights from complex healthcare datasets
• Research and apply LLM optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and knowledge distillation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related fields
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Extensive experience with Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and Keras
• Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GAI)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven expertise in healthcare data analytics and understanding of US healthcare systems
• Experience with PyTorch and Apache Spark
• Experience implementing information retrieval systems at scale, including semantic search using embeddings
