Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced analytics projects from end-to-end execution to solve complex business problems within the PR Operations Organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial insights, to derive substantial business value.
• Identify business needs and propose analytical approaches through SWOT analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof of concepts using Python.
• Develop and present impactful data stories and analysis results to business partners using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ensure all data assets comply with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Doctorate OR Masters + 2 years of relevant experience OR Bachelors + 4 years of relevant experience in data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational or graph databases.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing tools like Spark or Hive.
• Previous experience within the Biotech or Pharma industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering or Business Analytics/Data Science.
• Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools.
