Senior Data Scientist, Biology

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to analyze and interpret diverse biological data sets including genomics, proteomics, and multi-omics data
• Apply cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques including LLMs, deep learning, and foundation models to extract actionable insights
• Design and implement agentic AI workflows that orchestrate multiple AI models and tools to autonomously analyze biological pathways
• Develop and optimize agentic AI pipelines that automate multi-step biological data analysis tasks
• Contribute to experimental design and integrate disparate data sources to support research projects
• Communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI systems including LLMs and agentic workflows
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen
• Expertise in analyzing complex biological data sets like genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics
• Strong familiarity with bioinformatics tools and databases
