Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Influence product development through advanced statistical methodologies and machine learning for experimentation
• Innovate and implement machine learning and data mining algorithms on distributed platforms
• Work on causal effects modeling, heterogeneous treatment effects, and time series modeling
• Analyze experiments involving social network effects using methods like Switchback or Synthetic Control
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers regarding experimentation best practices
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to transform products through data

Requirements

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist
• Hands-on experience in the experimentation space and using experimentation products
• Proficiency with Python and SQL
• In-depth experience with Spark/Hadoop
• Experience building and using data pipelines in various data warehouse environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive research or project experience in digital product optimization or statistics
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to customers and stakeholders
