Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to product performance and patient complaints
• Develop and deploy machine learning, operational research, and statistical methods to uncover insights and root causes
• Create predictive models to foresee potential product issues and address customer needs
• Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings to multi-functional teams
• Collaborate with regulatory, compliance, and product development teams to ensure healthcare standards are met
• Work with software engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services
• Partner with data engineers on data quality assessment, cleansing, and analytics

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
• 8 to 12 years of experience with analytic software tools or programming languages
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, or SPSS
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, or similar
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Databricks platform for data analytics
• Demonstrated skill in applied analytics, feature extraction, and predictive modeling on industrial datasets
• Experience analyzing time-series data for forecasting and trend analysis
• Experience working with healthcare data, including patient feedback and regulatory requirements
• Certifications in Python, SAS, Salesforce, or SQL
• Fluency in verbal and written English to articulate complex technical concepts
