Senior Data Science Specialist

Responsibilities

• Propose and develop advanced analytics solutions that address strategic business needs.
• Implement and operationalize analytics solutions through data engineering and architecture.
• Contribute technical expertise to define the area's analysis strategy and improve organizational processes.
• Investigate complex problems, detect patterns, and recommend solutions using large volumes of data.
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments using agile software development practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (80% or higher).
• Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Modeling (Python, R, TensorFlow).
• Proficiency with Big Data technologies and distributed computing (Spark, Hadoop, SQL).
• Experience with Cloud architecture and software development (GCP, AWS).
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, algorithms, and standard ML models (Linear models, SVM, Trees, k-means, or Neural Networks).
• Experience deploying models to production and working within agile workflows.
• Ability to use data visualization tools such as Tableau or Data Studio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial sector, specifically within the insurance industry.
• Experience in business intelligence and data-oriented software development projects.
