Senior Data Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure that empowers domain teams to self-serve reliable data
• Drive Data Mesh concepts by providing tooling and architecture for decentralized data ownership
• Implement Data Reliability Engineering standards and SLO-based alerting for data freshness and accuracy
• Optimize Snowflake compute, storage, and pipeline costs through FinOps practices
• Guide migration of legacy data flows to the modern Data Platform
• Improve and automate underlying infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Fargate

Requirements

• Strong Python development skills
• Production experience with Snowflake
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, and data orchestration tools
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and AWS
• Track record of building or operating high-scale data platforms
• Familiarity with data reliability engineering and quality standards
• Experience managing cloud data costs and performance at scale
