Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the core stack including Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Fivetran
  • Lead implementation of ELT/ETL pipelines for analytical and AI/ML-driven use cases
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and dbt Mesh structures for self-service data products
  • Manage data environment using Terraform and GitHub for Infrastructure as Code
  • Implement Data SLA monitoring and observability
  • Automate Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Snowflake for security and compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or platform engineering
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake (clustering, micro-partitions, optimization) and dbt
  • Proven experience scaling automated ingestion frameworks using Fivetran and AWS (S3, Lambda, IAM)
  • Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL
  • Experience building self-service provisioning and CI/CD frameworks
  • Experience using AI tools like Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor to improve workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data cataloging tools like DataHub
  • Familiarity with operations data (Salesforce, Workday, Netsuite)
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster
  • Exposure to real-time data ingestion using Kafka or Snowflake Snowpipe
  • Knowledge of government data security standards or multi-tenant architectures
