Senior Data Modeler

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business requirements.
• Create dimensional models, including fact and dimension tables, for analytics and reporting.
• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using SQL and data transformation frameworks.
• Align data models with business needs and reporting specifications.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for offshore teams and global stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in data modeling and data engineering.
• Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Proven experience with dimensional modeling for analytics.
• High proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with modern data platforms, cloud data warehouses, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Fluent in Japanese and proficient in Business English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with both batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Ability to work in Osaka or collaborate closely with Osaka-based stakeholders from Tokyo.
