Senior Data Migration Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of SimCorp Dimension data migrations and service onboardings, including analysis, mapping, testing, and deployment.
• Document client requirements and map them to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes to identify efficiencies.
• Customize data migration and onboarding processes to meet individual client requirements.
• Support clients in executing test cases and troubleshooting/resolving data migration issues.
• Provide documentation of migration data and reconciliations to support internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with the data migration team to optimize processes and serve as a global knowledge center.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Physics, Math, Science, or Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in the financial industry (asset managers, fund managers, insurers, or banks).
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments, products, and financial markets.
• Solid investment accounting exposure, including understanding of debits, credits, and transaction lifecycles.
• Strong analytical experience, including trade/cash break investigations and portfolio reconciliation.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Business Analysis or Project Management.
• High-level understanding of requirements gathering and the project lifecycle.
• Ability to manage changing client priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as German, French, Italian, or Nordic languages.
