Senior Data Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain database security, merging, storage, management, and cleaning for multiple research projects.
• Ensure high data quality and integrity through rigorous cleaning and preparation processes.
• Design and develop REDCap databases and Qualtrics surveys for various research studies.
• Manage the secure acquisition and transfer of research-related data, including de-identification for federal agencies.
• Collaborate with biostatisticians and research teams to support data analysis and dissemination activities.
• Train students and staff in data management best practices.
• Develop processes for monitoring compliance with Data Use Agreements and security requirements.
• Prepare reports and present data using charts, graphs, and tables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience.
• At least four (4) years of related experience in technology, information management, or statistics.
• Proficiency in relational database management, data mining, and programming.
• Experience managing and maintaining complex data systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D.
• Expertise in data management software such as Excel, Access, REDCap, SQL, Python, R, STATA, or SAS.
• Experience working with "big data" sets and computational analysis.
• Experience with healthcare system data.
• Strong mathematical skills and technical knowledge.
