Senior Data Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in complex programs for data quality, governance, and metadata activities
• Design and conduct analysis to identify and remediate data quality, integrity, and control gaps
• Analyze and test data controls and systems to ensure compliance with risk and governance standards
• Identify data quality metrics and execute audits to benchmark data health
• Develop recommendations for resolving data quality issues and implementing new data sources
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
• Drive planning and coordination for remediation efforts as a central point of contact
• Consult with clients to assess the current state of data and metadata quality

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and manipulation
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
• Strong expertise in data quality and governance principles
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial lending products (leveraged finance, asset backed finance, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience with commercial banking applications such as Loan IQ, AFS, COLTS, or ACBS
• Experience writing user stories and test scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Proficiency with JIRA and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Visio, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in data conversion efforts and validation methodologies
