Senior Data Engineering & Reporting Automation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, automated data pipelines and workflows to support business intelligence and reporting needs
• Design and implement data integration processes, including ETL/ELT frameworks, for large and complex datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable automated reporting solutions
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data through automated validation and monitoring processes
• Leverage data visualization tools to automate the generation and distribution of reports and dashboards
• Implement best practices in data engineering, including data governance, security, and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and reporting issues in a timely manner
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering and reporting processes through innovation and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation of reporting processes replacing Excel-based solutions and VBA macros
• Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources including Data Warehouses and virtualization layers like Denodo
• Expertise in design and implementation of parameter-driven reporting logic based on semantic models
• Proficiency in Power BI dataset design and Power Query (M language)
• Advanced DAX development skills for complex measures and calculated columns
• Experience using Power Automate for generating and distributing Excel outputs
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security and access controls implementation
