Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data processing initiatives and contribute to large-scale data processing frameworks
• Build and maintain optimized, highly available data pipelines to support enterprise strategy and analytics
• Oversee data integration work, including data modeling, maintaining data warehouses, and writing integration scripts
• Resolve technical challenges and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with managers and colleagues to resolve issues and achieve strategic goals while ensuring compliance with data policies

Requirements

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong expertise in SQL development and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Scala) and Apache Spark
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Dataproc, BigQuery, Dataplex, and Cloud Composer
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD processes, and version control tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data warehousing, including designing star/snowflake schemas and ETL/ELT processes
• Knowledge of query optimization and database performance tuning
• Exposure to AI/ML models and Generative AI frameworks
• Experience supporting data pipelines for AI/ML and Agentic AI workloads
