Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale data processing initiatives and contribute to enterprise strategy deliverables
• Build and maintain optimized, highly available data pipelines for batch and near-real-time processing
• Oversee data integration work, including data modeling, warehouse maintenance, and script development
• Design and manage scalable ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Informatica and Airflow
• Orchestrate complex data flows between BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Proficiency in Google BigQuery and Python
• Strong experience in ETL development and data modeling
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Teradata databases
• Proficiency with Informatica and Google Cloud Composer
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of GenAI/Agentic AI for complex workflow execution
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud architecture
• Experience with data validation and reconciliation frameworks
