Senior Data Engineer

About the Company

Vizzia provides AI-powered products to local authorities to keep streets clean and safe. The data squad sits inside the AI team and owns the stack that turns raw signals into the datasets, models, and dashboards the company runs on.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines that feed AI models and internal tools
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability across the full data lifecycle
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance using Datadog and Grafana
• Build a data platform that allows R&D and data scientists to create and enrich datasets autonomously
• Contribute to the infrastructure as code stack dedicated to data services
• Build and maintain dashboards and internal reports for actionable insights
• Collaborate with Data Science, DevOps, and Product teams

Requirements

• Around 5 years of experience as a data engineer
• Strong Python and cloud foundations (AWS preferred)
• Experience working with significant data volumes
• Solid Computer Science or engineering background
• Ability to write clean software and own systems end-to-end

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer vision data
