Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines to support the ingestion, processing, and distribution of large datasets
• Leverage SaaS platforms and tools to develop, configure, and automate data workflows
• Partner with stakeholders and product managers to gather requirements and onboard new data sources into the cloud data platform
• Implement observability capabilities and continuously optimize application services and pipeline performance
• Perform data quality validation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data assets
• Lead technical discussions and mentor a team of engineers

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with Data Warehouse and Data Platforms
• 5+ years of experience creating ETL/ELT data pipelines with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience with Databricks Lakehouse platforms
• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control systems (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, Terraform)
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and microservices architecture
• Experience creating technical design documentation (logical and physical views)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within DevOps and Scrum methodologies
• Proven track record of successful product development delivery
• Strong problem-solving and debugging expertise
