Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust dbt models in Snowflake for reliable, privacy-preserving analysis
• Own and evolve systems and processes underpinning the data platform
• Design and build systems to track core KPIs and ensure timely, accurate data access
• Partner with stakeholders to support analytics and business intelligence
• Work with Trust, Security, and Governance teams to ensure data security and compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Advanced SQL skills including window functions, query optimization, and schema design
• Proficiency in Python for production-grade code
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Dagster, and Snowflake
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with BI/data visualization tools like Looker, Metabase, or Mode
• Ability to drive work independently and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of applied statistics and quantitative modeling
• Domain knowledge in Banking or SaaS analytics (LTV, churn, retention)
• Experience with streaming or microbatch analytics (Spark Streaming, Flink, Beam)
• Experience with event stores (AWS Kinesis, GCP PubSub, Kafka, Pulsar)
• Experience scaling companies from early stages
