Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time and batch data processing pipelines using Flink to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Lead the architecture design and development of Flink streaming systems tailored to complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with data scientists to support feature engineering and develop feature stores for production machine learning models.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including AI, compliance, risk, and engineering, to deliver robust data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical challenges in real-time stream processing to ensure system stability.
• Improve overall system performance and data integrity within real-time data pipelines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience, ideally within large enterprises or international FinTech companies.
• Deep expertise in Apache Flink for real-time data streaming and architecture design.
• Experience with data platforms such as Alibaba Cloud Hologres, Doris, Clickhouse, or Spark.
• Proven experience in feature engineering and feature store development for machine learning applications.
• Background in the FinTech or blockchain industry.
• Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration in a cross-national team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with blockchain technology.
• Advanced experience specifically in developing and scaling feature stores.
