Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and govern enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Build trusted, certified, and discoverable data assets through robust validation and quality assurance frameworks
• Implement data certification and trusted data asset workflows
• Manage data cataloging and metadata management processes to ensure reliability and transparency
• Collaborate within Agile environments to support data engineering and analytics initiatives

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with a strong background in data engineering and analytics platforms
• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience in cloud or enterprise environments
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Synapse)
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks)
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Experience designing data validation and quality frameworks
• Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools (Microsoft Purview preferred)
• Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management
• Ability to work shift timings of 2 PM - 11 PM
