Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the data platform by designing and maintaining scalable, reliable data pipelines
• Build and maintain production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines for transactional systems and event streams
• Enable analytics and business teams through well-modeled and documented data
• Support machine learning workflows by building feature pipelines and feature stores
• Ensure data quality and reliability through monitoring, alerting, and SLAs
• Improve developer experience by building tooling and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Software, ML, and Product teams

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Advanced SQL skills and deep experience with data modeling
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools like Airflow, AWS Glue, or dbt
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Athena, Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Familiarity with big data frameworks like Spark
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data workflows
• Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, IAM, Lambda, Glue, EMR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to feature stores or ML data pipelines
• Close collaboration experience with ML Engineering teams
